SERVICES

Every department, in one place.

Five departments, structured yet flexible, meeting children, adolescents, young adults, and families at different stages of growth.

Counselling Services

Counselling is approached as a consistent and collaborative process, for individuals, couples, families, and children — a space to pause, reflect, and work through concerns with guidance and structure. Over the past 5 years, we have worked with 7,500+ clients across a team of 8 counsellors.

TYPES OF SERVICE

Speech Therapy Support

Speech therapy services depending on the child’s or individual’s needs.

Continuity & co-counselling

Our team stays in touch with clients to schedule and block appointments in advance. In the initial phase, if required, we offer co-counselling support to ensure continuity as the client settles into the process.

Integrated, holistic support

We work with visiting clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, and speech therapists, and recommend psychometric assessments where required — building a holistic support system rather than working in isolation.

Offline sessions in Bhowanipore, Kolkata, and online sessions everywhere. Support circles and workshops on emotional wellbeing, relationships, and life skills are also offered.

Morning Programme — Special Education

A personalised and flexible learning environment for children with diverse needs, divided into three focused pathways depending on the child’s needs, strengths, and future goals.

PATHWAY 1

Pre-Vocational Programme

Functional & vocational life-skill building: daily living skills, communication, task-based learning, and on-site job training.

PATHWAY 2

NIOS Support Programme

Academic + holistic development with exam readiness for the National Institute of Open Schooling, keeping higher-education paths open.

PATHWAY 3

Homeschooling Programme

A structured, school-like environment with a tailor-made curriculum, internal assessments, in a smaller supportive setting.

Each child follows an Individualised Education Plan (IEP). Holistic evaluations may include written, oral, and activity-based assessments, with a scribe wherever required. Children have access to an in-house counselling psychologist, and families stay connected through quarterly Parent-Teacher Meetings. Two annual events — the Inclusive Cultural Programme (August) and MARGOTSAV, the Annual Sports Event (December) — bring the community together.

Evening Academic Assistance

After-school support in a structured yet flexible environment, focused not only on completing academic work, but on helping children understand, express, and grow with confidence. We have supported 100+ students, many continuing long-term.

Smart Start Academy

A space for young adults to build independence, confidence, and a sense of purpose — combining life skills, vocational exposure, and personal development in a close-knit learning environment.

Life Skills Focus

Communication and interpersonal skills, daily living and self-care routines, basic computer literacy, money management, and emotional understanding.

Vocational Exposure

Task completion and consistency, basic workplace behaviour, understanding effort and outcomes, and building confidence contributing meaningfully.

CREATIVE VOCATIONAL INITIATIVE

कलाMārga — Path to an Empowered Future

Learners make handmade bags, journals, pouches, canvases, and jewellery — each product reflecting creativity, patience, and growing confidence.
